I developed this personal website to honor the early Colombian imported Paso Finos to the USA. The articles I have edited for typos and grammar, and have translated others from Spanish. Please credit this website link if you copy part of these articles for quotes anywhere. In time I will expand the website with more articles and photos. There is a listing of PFHA Top 10 sire and dams that have this lineage also there.
There are more of these bloodlines in the USA. Many are diluted lineage wise, but there are a handful that still have 50%, 75% and 100% of these lineage and that maintain the full Colombian Paso Fino ancestor lineage. Not many, but a few.
My stallion Emperador La Estrella is one of the handful few with that 100% Meridian Meadows and Colombian lineage. He will be 27 years old in March 2008, and has offspring from age 24 years to 8 months old.
