Before you ask:  No pics, no videos, sorry.

I had a really nice time reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones.

I got to meet Debbie, her husband, Frosty (of course) and some of Debbie's other mares.  Her lovely buttermilk palomino filly was with her too!

Mandy and her boy was there.  Did a GREAT job representing the breed versatility!

I was pleasantly surprised to see Bill and Rosie Beckert from Michigan at the show.  They are serious PR supporters having imported and breed PR horses in the last few years.   I met Bill and Rosie in 2005 when we traveled as a group to the DSFair.

Kofresi Royal (Ramon) and his brother Fernando plus friend and family were present with several of their horses.  They also brought with them a couple who board Ramon's horses for him.  They are TNW horse folks, but enjoyed the show too.  Once again Ramon hosted a training clinic as well as a raffle and donating the trophies for the show.

Jose (Vitin) Oliver and Jose Diaz representing the Federación del Deporte del Caballos de Paso Fino de Puerto Rico were present.  They brought up two lovely plaques for high point mare and high point stallion.  The plaque was a sketch of two horses nose-to-nose with one mane the Puerto Rican flag and the other mane the USA flag.

Gail Brown brought several horses and her eye-catching young stallion by Rejonero de Labriego.

Michelle (paintedhorizon) was busy all day Saturday giving out ribbons, but still left with a smile on her face (as always).

Even tropical storm Faye cooperated by keeping the roads navigable.  It brought some pleasant breezes and cloud cover for the show keeping the arena comfortable.

I even got to see a million dollar bull, Chicken on a Chain!  How cool is that!

WOW!   Candice,  that sounds like a fantastic show, seems like you had a treat! THANKS FOR SHARING.

What a pleasant surprise to see the PR Federation present, that demonstrated an act of support, and my respect to them.

Congratulations!!!!!!   to all!

OK!!!!!   RAMON!!!!   Pictures please for the unfortunate one like me that couldn't say present.

I did enjoy it!

I forgot a few others and forgive me because some I don't know their names or their horses either.

There was Dr. Padilla from Arkansas with his young stallion by Replica de Majestuoso and a mare that really caught my eye.

Cliff was there with is pinto gelding and his fantastic mare, who deservedly won the high point award.

Also there was another mare that I saw, but I don't know who owned her or rode her that I like.  I believe the mare was a product from Gail's farm.

I had a really great time!  Saturday was very busy, trying to keep things organized with the first few classes, fixing speakers (weren't working in the barns), helping the ribbon girls, helping Stella.  I really had a blast!  Kofresi and his brother are very nice people!  I was very happy to meet them!  Loved meeting pprpaso.  Her boy Frost is definitly beautiful!  His pictures don't do him justice!  And what versatility!  He was doing fino to largo, all gaits!  He was a tired boy Sunday. LOL
