Attention Parents

Message from the PFHA

http://www.mundialdejinetesyamazonas2008.com/

The YOUTH MUNDIAL will be held in the month of July  the week of the
13-20.
The show has been moved to
Medellin, Colombia.

The Dominican Republic was not able to fulfill the responsibility so Confepaso voted to move it to Colombia.  There is some interest among our youth and their families to represent the USA at this International Competition.

In order to select the USA team, the PFHA youth committee has set the qualifying workshop/show for the following date and locations:

March 22, 2008 Ocala FL
contact: Diego Bravo- diegobravo@atlantic.net

April 12, 2008 Miami, FL
contact:Alexandra Escudero pasohorse@aol.com
786-218-7016

April 12, 2008 Troy, IL
contact:Christy Meyer christymeyer@charter.net
618-667-9909

There will be only 6 members from each age group. The girls and boys are divided as follows:

Girls and Boys will compete separately.
Ages 4-6, 6-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, and 18-24.

The coaches will be taking video of all the riders at the try outs in the
event that we have more than 6 kids in one category to choose from.

All parents and youth who make the team will have to have a valid passport to travel.

We will try to make arrangements so that we can travel as a team from
Miami and all through the week in Colombia.

Any Questions!  Please contact the PFHA @ 1-813-719-7777

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!   Idea

EDITED:  to add actual show dates!

Well!  Tonight the official opening ceremony was celebrated in the city of Medellin, Colombia.

It was very emotional! ceremony, I couldn't help to noticed Dominican Republic not participated in the ceremony, maybe they decided in protest not to participate. (just my opinion)

Anyway! we still don't have the names of USA team members!  what a shame! to see how little publicity and support our kids are getting, is sad.

For those of you interested in seeing more of Youth Mundial and speak Spanish, here is the link, schedules, press releases, and much more.   http://www.mundialdejinetesyamazonas2008.com
