Nice to see such a quality PPR stallion. If he is anything like his mother, I like him. Do you have a video that you could post of him being ridden? I would love to see how he moves.

I have a video....I till attempt to post it (I am barely computer literate so bare with me)
I think he is more Santana than Areyto. I dearly loved that mare, she was the first Paso Fino that I ever showed. Bob and Marcia let me show her at the Columbia SC show when I was like 15 years old. She was a GREAT mare.

I used to give her owner lessons when I was a teenager. He used to fall off all the time because I made him ride without stirups.

The first thing that came to mind, 30 years ago, I had no problem on the sadle, Now days, I need safetybelts and carzy glue.... to assure my safety on the sadle
BAck to Carreyto! sorry! I had to express my mind! did not mean to change topic here!
If you need any help with the video, let me know!

Are you talking about Bob, Cindy?
That brings me back too, lol. I have riden my entire life, I was sitting on a horses back before I could walk. When I was about 13 or 14 we found Paso Finos. We bought our first Paso from Zona Butler in PA. Over summer break from 16 until I graduated HS I would spend time at her place. She taught me to stop just being a passenger, how to really ride.
I remember the first time I saw Springer, she brought her out of the stall, she was a yearling, she flew down the barn isle, all you saw was hair, a blaring white face and feet, taca taca taca. I thought she was quite possible the ugliest thing I had even seen.
fast foward a few years, She is now a 4 yo and I am staying there for the first time, my first formal riding lesson she puts me on Springer, english saddle no stirrups and makes me close my eyes. Let me say Springer is the hottest most sensitive horse I have even been to date. Let's just say I found my seat very fast. I can remember how intimidated and scared I was. I owe her alot (Springer and Zona) Of course as the story goes I fell madly in love with Springer and she has been with me ever since.

No, I don't know who Bob is. I was refering to Roger Foster. He owned her as a filly and showed her when she won at the Nationals. Mid-eighties.

That's right, Roger Foster...I knew they had not bred her but I could not remember his name.
I found a video of me riding Santana in 1997 before and during the SC show. THAT was a long time ago....

Psssh, that was YESTERDAY. And, actually, Roger did not breed her. He bought her from Dean and Donna Mays who bred her and also owned Turabo at that time.
