BigJ

Yes he is!
pprpaso

Thanks for posting the video of my stallion.  His name is "Cale's Helado Oro"  though not Cale's Helado de Oro.

Here is his pedigree.........

http://www.pasoregistry.com/db/Profile.asp?ID=90638

This stallion is ppr with some old rare lines. He is many times Batalla (3rd and 4th generation)  the last producing son of the 2 time national Fino Champion Frio Viento  http://youtube.com/watch?v=-zfX5jEUQl4&feature=user and a grandson of the legendary Bolero LaCE foundation stallion of both PFHA and PPRPFHA! His granddam Maria Luisa was pronounced "Dam of Puerto Rican Dams" from the champions she produced.

This stallion has substance, beauty, is quick gaited, intelligent, and possesses an extraordinary sweet temperament. He can be for a beginner rider and ride as a pleasure mount but when asked can be all the horse you want in the showring! This versality is what we love in these bloodlines!

Here's the ad posted in Paso Fino a Puerto Rican Breed in the past 2 issues...you can see he is accomplished in the show ring and is also putting some wonderful offspring on the ground (3 ppr foals coming this season )

No Wink  Problems....!

This guy is going to be Springers boyfriend this summer!  I can't wait to see what they produce!!
pprpaso

Yeah me too Cristy! One thing for sure....it will be flashy and well gaited. I know Janet is hoping for palomino....she has a 50/50 chance.

Even a chestnut with all that splash Springer has should make her happy!

Your filly out of Harry and Springer is very flashy and nice!

I just sent hair samples in to UC Davis to have Frost checked for color genes including Sabino 1. We won't need that to get splash out of Springer....she has plenty.  Frost has the pink lower lip, large blaze and 2 hind socks that are sort of jagged looking. I do know that the blazes and white socks on our horses comes from the Sabino gene.
cristy

I just cannot wait to meet him in person!  Does he have ticking, I was thinking Janet said he did.  IF he has ticking I bet he does have the sabino gene.

Springer's filly is a carbon copy her her, I tease Marcia all the time, she is the only think Harry has EVER thrown that was not a carbon copy of him.
pprpaso

Frost has some white flecs or spots in his coat but I don't think it is actually the ticking but I should have results from the DNA next week. He has so many colors mixed in his coat it reminds me of a "brindle". He even has vertical stripes down his ribs in summer and horizontal stripes on his flank....these are starting to become visible now.

It will be interesting to see just what his genetic markers say. I know he has the creme gene but I am having him checked for Aguoti, Sabino and Silver.

Does Springer always throw the loud sabino or is this her first foal? That sabino can hide and then crop up later to. I had a medium sabino mare that had the 4 white stockings, big blaze and white ticking in her coat. Her first filly she had for me was very loud....actually louder than she was and the stallion was Mito de Mile. He has similar white to Frost. Then we bred her to a stallion with minimal white and only a strip of a blaze. The filly only has a star but a coon tail head and the white ticking on her flank and is getting more now on her forehead and sides. She could throw a loud foal from even a minimal marked stallion. You just never know......

Here's a picture of Des and Prima (she's the loud sabino) a few hours after she was born.....she has white way up on her upper  hind legs. She is palomino also.

ayyyayyyayyyayyyayyya   LOOK AT THAT BABYs CHEST!  wow!

thanks for sharing!  your PADROTE! is fantastic!
BigJ

That's a strong baby!   Cool

We had a palomino colt born about the same color and blaze!  He ended up being one of those very golden palominos with a naturally white flaxen mane and tail (no whiteners, no bleach)!

Tho' to be honest I think the baby coat color is pretty cool looking.
pprpaso

Yes this filly is a real chunk! Also a beautiful palomino with a very white mane and tail but her coat is more of a "pinky' color. I don' think she got very tall but is very stocky built.

I will have to look for some newer pics of her......I do have one of her at 3 months old......she is so precious!
[img][/img]

The second filly I got out of this mare is tall and built !  She only has the star on her forehead the white tail head and the white ticking in her coat. Star looks a lot like her dam . This is Star as a month old foal with her dam Desiree RRR.

Star (La Estrella Filante IHR) is related to Frosty.....she is out of a Frio Viento grandson. Actually her grandmother is Frosty's half sister. She also is a Bolero LaCE great grand on her dam's side.......

Here she is now! 41/2 years old and going well under saddle. She is very well gaited , solid and with BRIO!
