I’m so glad that the paso finos are been adopted in a far away country like U.K. and so well appreciated it. Also it brought me memories with the once performed here in P. R. glass of water event. It’s a shame that no one practice this test event any longer. It’s my very favorite! Although, I can fully understand the deal with the toilet paper test, I founded very peculiar. Also I notice a small black horse that doesn’t resembles a paso fino neither his gait, looks more like an Icelandic horse, they also have a very similar gait as pasos. Thanks a lot Caliber for bring this news to our attention!

Is my pleasure Pro!
Observations about this video is, the high level of equitation those kids have, great seat and well balance. Look at their angles from their arms, perfect alignment with the reins.....perfect!
There where 2 horses in the bunch that I don't think are Pasos! The black chunky and another chunky being ridden by an adult male... (purple t-shirt I think)
The Black Chunky looks like an Icelandic Draft Pony Mix (my opinion)..........and the other one was a clear Icelandic........
Insular Association is always at the vanguard on equitation events Jo-Ann, thanks goodness for that; but I'm refering to the clasic fino event were they use to carry a cup of water as a test to determine the smothes cadence paso fino there. Here is a pic from the good ol'days of the famous stallion Cuentas Claras, sire by also famous stallion Kopeki riden by Rene Concepcion with the "Garita del Morro" in old San Juan as background. I think they're taking the paso fno stile very seriously in UK, and we're their example in that matter. Hopefully if we keep educating ourself, we will become a veter example to the world in every aspect.
