OK, I have a way to go here. It's gonna take a bit to build though. I'm gonna need more pictures if anyone has them, and pedigrees posted from the Fedequinas grail please. (Felix, Kerry)

Cerezo-very young

OK, I know for sure, I'm looking for a picture and info on the OLD Plumaje, not the one in the 80s that I have a picture of, as he's way to young to be the one I'm looking for.
Any information about these particular horses, as well as pedigree information will be appreciated. Also, I'd love to see some of the mares, and as soon as I get to the office I'll post what pedigrees I've got, and more. Just wanted to get this started.

Britz, you are looking for the Pedigree on all pictures?
By the way! Now that I see Delirio's picture blowned!!! I can see that is Rafy Rivera.....from Puerto Rico......owned Resorte III.... and was Don Fabio Ochoa close friend.....
Rafy is another one you should speak to!! he speaks fluent English and reside in Ocala!
Britz, I don't have any more photos of the horses you posted. That one of Ofelia on Cerezo is one of my favorite photos of all time! I do have one of Cabinera though:

TY Felix and Kerry! (I wonder if she's gray or Palomino? almost has to be gray right?)
OK for pedigrees:
Gaucho, I think is the most solid though I found one listed on pasoregistry, thats different. (it has him as by Majico out of Llamarada, having RIII twice on top)
However, I found twice, this Gaucho:
Resorte I
Jazmin
Venus
Gaucho
Campana (left blank)* anyone help?*
So next, (I'm going oldest forward)
Desvelo.
I found a few Desvelos, 2 from PR breeding, one stud by Cupido out of Filigrana and one mare, by Toledo out of Zorba, this mare I found two places. But here's I think the best for Desvelo:
Jazmin(Resorte I X Venus)
Gaucho
Campana
Desvelo
Cometa(Resorte I X Gaviota)
Cabinera
Flota
Cerezo, I found one Cerezo I dismissed as too recent, but two possibilities, one, on Tesio, as by Cometa out of Marina. Timing wouldn't be off, but I found twice:
Gaucho (JazminXCampana) (Goes to RIXVenus)
Desvelo
Cabinera(CometaXGaviota) (Goes to RI X Gaviota)
Cerezo
Plumaje (Piel Roja X Venus)
Cereza
Fundadora *blank
(We can clearly see that this is not the Plumaje by Rescate, because he has the Old Plumaje listed on his pedigree top and bottom)
OK Now my boy Delirio. Felix, you stirred a new can of worms, because if that's Rafy riding, and if he owned Resorte III and was close to Don Fabio, it makes my quest more complicated. If you think he'll talk to me, please PM his #.
So, Delirio, there are 13 possibilities (the most of any I found).
We can rule out the 1981 gray by Catbalu Bailarin LaCE out of Jalapeno que tal., next let me list the ones where no extension is made: by Rey Cometa out of blank, by Darling out of blank, by Onassis out of Golodrina II, by Marino out of Lira I, by Diablo out of Martha, by Caribe out of blank.
Then we have by Desvelo out of blank, we have by Desvelo out of Indiana, we have by Gaucho out of Panderita (with an "i" whose parents are listed as Indiano and Verbena.
Thats how Ochoa listed him, but he also lists Dandy, by Delirio, and on that Delirio pedigree in Dandy, he uses Cerezo as the sire of Delirio out of a blank for the mare. Of course we also have him listed as by Desvelo out of Pandereta with an "e" whose parents were Profeta and Tuna.
So we've got a reptition of the father as Desvelo patterened pretty well. However, I found three seperate references to Delirio as being sired by Resorte III, and out of a mare called Inquietud or Inquietud II. Three references.
Believe me, to some the wheels in my head may make no sense, but it makes sense in my quest.
OK so Dandy, according to some the only well known male offspring of Delirio.
We have two possibilities. One, we have
Desvelo(GauchoXCabinera)
Delirio
Pandereta(ProfetaXTuna)
Dandy
Impacto
Danzarina
Zarzamora
or theres
Cerezo(DesveloXCereza)
Delirio
Blank
Dandy
Resorte III(Resorte IIXGuala)
Danzarina
Dalila
*Dalila is shown to be by Caballo Veijo by Canario de Andes. She's shown out of Danesa, the Danesa.
OK so now, if I was a puppy dog, right now my ears would be perked up, this is just enough mystery game to get me excited. Please, please if there are any pics of any horses found here, please post them. If you have a different pedigree, post it. If you have a story of personal involvement or know someone who was personally aquainted with these horses, please if nothing else. email me, or ask Felix I'll get a mail address for you. I'm very interested in continuing this.
Cabinera was palomino (Cometa x La Flota), is the pedigree I have from the book I got the pic from.
On Gaucho, I have (Jazmin x Campana (nothing for her)...Jazmin is (Resorte x La Venus...and I mention this, because this one has La Venus as being by Congo, who was owned by Enrique Lopez).
Also says that Gaucho died at the age of 32, the same week, the same age and in the same area (Felix...pesebrera...is that stable?) as Plumaje, in 1968.
Not sure how accurate the Gaucho stuff is...but Cabinera was palomino, as was her sire, Cometa.

Thanks Kerry!
I mean to come back to this thread as well, soon as I talk to Rafi about Delirio, and anything else he wants to tell me about. I actually have off Sat, Sun, Mon, so I might find the time to call. You know, I have to take notes, so no calling in the car (which is when i try to call everyone, I spend a lot of time there).

On the Dandy pedigree...according to the Fedequinas book, Dandy was Delirio x Danzarina. Declared F.C. in 1983 (Trocha Pura).
Dalila (Canario II x Danesa). Declared F.C. in 1980 (Trote y Galope). She was grey. Dalila's sire is also listed as just Canario in several places in various books.
I think Reliquia is the dark one...not a great photo, but in the Fedequinas book, there is an excellent photo of Dalila...it's gargantuan though, so I don't know if I can scan it or not.
