Dixie Plantation All Breed Show - Canterbury Show Place. Newberry, FL On June 21, 2008 Paso Fino and Trote & Galope were available. There was a very nice turn out and the show sponsor could not have been nicer! It was the first time Trote & Galope classes were offered. 2008 Youth Mundial! in Medellin, Colombia
Before arriving in Colombia, Debbie Wolkowicz had never ridden a Trote & Galope horse. That little detail did not stop the determined young Pennsylvania woman from realizing her lifelong dream of bringing home a ribbon from the World Equitation Championships. Debbie, shown here on Prestigio de Gabriela, a Trote & Galope gelding, placed second overall in the international competition held in Medellin, Colombia, S.A. "It was better then a dream come true," said Debbie. "It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be there representing my country, to make new friendships, and to cheer on my teammates." IPHF will honor Debbie, her TEAM USA teammates, and the coaches at the U.S. Nat't Show in November, 2008.
